Aimed to analyze physical activity interventions developed specifically in men and the associated health benefits. To this systematic review was selected articles from databases. Were identified 4,178 studies, which eight met the inclusion criteria. Positive effects were identified in men with interventions in physical activity with aerobic activities and resistance exercises, between 12 weeks and 12 months in moderate to vigorous intensity. Interventions based in physical activity for the male population provide better health to men. Is necessary to conduct such researches in Brazilian men, since no studies were found in Brazil within this theme.
