In this article the author reports on the importance of Revista Brasileira de Enfermagem-REBEn (Brazilian Journal of Nursing) for her educational trajectory since the undergraduation course until the present days. She describes her personal, professional and educational development, as well as the development of her scientific curiosity, relating it to the knowledge acquired in the periodical REBEn.
