The study was to verify the students' opinions to the role of nursing teacher in clinical situacion, to know what is the most important in learning: orientation, facilitator and as a model as preconized by Bloom, Rogers and Bandura. The results described the teacher as a model, and it is predominant among the students of the last period of the course.
