GLOBAL BUZZ: META-ANALYSIS

ABSTRACT

The present article is a meta-analysis of the relation of global knowledge in the creation of knowledge and innovation. In the last few years there has been a substantial increase in research that has resulted in a great knowledge of companies agglomerated by processes of deliberate interactions with other actors for the concentration of companies. The studies were carried out in nine databases (Web of Science, Ebsco, Scopus, Proquest, Esmeralda, JSTOR, ScienceDirect, Springer, Inspec, Compendt, Google scholar), which generated 30 effect sizes involving a cumulative sample of 39750 companies. It was based on a theoretical model hypothesized based on two constructs and a moderator variable. The results demonstrated a direct and significant relationship between global buzz, knowledge and innovation. Regarding the moderating effect, it was confirmed that the size of the research effect had a significant influence on the magnitude of effect sizes. The theoretical and methodological date provided by this meta-analysis is not a sense of a review on the quantitative integration of constructs to a study studied (knowledge and innovation). It is believed that it understands a local and global dynamics of agglomerated companies from a learning perspective and the power of execution to transform visions about current study areas and research.
