ABSTRACT

In this work we seek to understand the intriguing fact revealed by Martins et al (2011; 2013) about the significance of the very low utilization rate of Brazilian social thought and of Brazil's interpretations, as theoretical references in the scientific production of the Administration area in the firsts 15 years of implementation of the Brazilian State Reform [1995-2010]. As methodology, we elected the content analysis of the discourse of Brazilian research groups in the Administration Area, in their 'mirrors' at DGP-Lattes / CNPq, based on a representative random sample of this universe in the 2010 Census - hypothetically the same that brought together the authors that academic production, its peers and evaluators. As revelations of this investigation, we highlight the convergence of the reduced use of literature that historically reflects and interprets our nationality, in that academic production, with the onto-epistemological orientation of the research groups in the area, at the time of the publications of de work. As if these two phenomena explained each other. Finally, this article raises some important topics about these Brazilian research centers.
