Abstract
From 2009 to 2019, ten years have already passed and the Revista Direito e Práxis (DeP) is a well-established and relevant publication channel in the area of critical socio-legal research, with special focus on the fields of theory, philosophy and sociology of law. These ten years of dedication to manage, professionalize and expand the scope of the publication have been fruitful not only in terms of the journal's recognition, but also in terms of institutional evaluations and the journal's impact on academic works. The recognition of the journal in the field is given by a series of factors, which are related to the quality and professionalism, in addition to its specific scope. In this article, we recall the history of the foundation of the journal in order to foster a debate on its good practices. Finally, we present a summary of the upcoming editorial challenges and strategies to be adopted by the editorial team of Direito e Práxis Journal.
