Crits and crips: connecting critical disability studies and critical legal studies

Abstract:

I herein seek to entrench critical legal and disability studies through a convergence between the concepts of trashing and cripping. My hypothesis is that to trash law also consists in to crip law - cripping and trashing are destabilizing means of the scenarios that represent norm and disability as peaceful and non-conflicting concepts. The “test formulation” initiated here is that the intent of both tools is based on a common interest, which disruptive appearance holds a latent possibility of permanent actualization of prospective revolutionary intents.
