INDIVIDUAL ACCESS POSSIBILITIES IN THE UNIVERSAL SYSTEM FOR THE PROTECTION OF HUMAN RIGHTS: IACHR, I / A COURT HR, THE EUROPEAN SYSTEM AND THE AFRICAN SYSTEM

ABSTRACT

The objective of this article is to make known the possibilities that individuals have as subjects of international law to access to present their complaints in the Universal System for the Protection of Human Rights. It is in the subject of access to justice of the law of the city; analytical methods were used. To achieve the proposed objective, a documentary and descriptive research was carried out, with an emphasis on international standards that regulate the subject. The investigation is divided into 3 parts: in the first part, a brief introduction about the Human Rights protection system; in the second part on the Universal System for the Protection of Human Rights and in the third part, there are three Regional Systems for the Protection of Human Rights: the European System, the Inter-American System and the African System. It is important to highlight that the active dimension of the individual's international legal subjectivity depends on the degree of progress in the matter presented by the regional system or the international body before which it is sued.
