Fermeria is proposed as a new name for Fairmairiana Sakakibara, 1998 (praeoc.) (non Fairmairiana Alexis & Delpont, 1998 (Coleoptera, Cetoniidae)), and, consequently, the following change: Fermeria spinolai (Sakakibara, 1998), comb.n.
