Cangatiella arandasi, gen.n.sp.n. (Cestoda - Proteocephalidae), parasito de Parauchenipterus galeatus (Siluriformes - Auchenipteridae) do rio Paraná, PR

The authors describe Cangatiella arandasi, gen. n. sp. n., parasite of "cangati", Parauchenipterus galeatus. The genus is characterized by the vitellaria situated between the excretory ducts, and strobila with a median longitudinal furrow which, together with transversal furrows, suggest ducts system. That is the first reference of Proteocephalid in this host.
