Description of the male imago of Caenis cuniana Froehlich with biological notes (Ephemeroptera, Caenidae)

The male imago of Caenis cuniana Froehlich, 1969 is for the first time described, based on one specimen from Maricá, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Notes on taxonomy and biology of the species are added.
