The break of the dormancy of brids of apple cv. Eva treateds with three concentrations of hydrogen cyanamide

The most of the growing apple cultivars show deficiency and desuniformity of the terminal and lateral brids, because of the bad distribuition or/and low chill hours below 7,2 º C, leading to a low orchard productivity. Even using the low chill hours cultivars as like Eva, has verified the need of doing the breaking dormancy to make the blooming compatible earlier and better production in regions whith low winter or years of low chill accumulate. Was estimated the effect of hydrogenated cyanamide in three different concentrations (0,5, 1,0 and 1,5 %) associated with mineral oil (3%) on the lateral and terminal brids of Eva cultivar and Eva and Anabela's fenology. This aspect allows concluding that the hydrogen cyanamide has a significative influence on the lateral and terminal blooming brids at 1,5% plus mineral oil at 3% was the most effective on dormancy breaking.
