Book review – Teaching Einsteinian physics in schools: an essential guide for teachers in training and practice by Magdalena Kersting and David Blair

In this work we present the book Teaching Einsteinian Physics in Schools: An Essential Guide for Teachers in Training and Practice, organized by Magdalena Kersting and David Blair. Kersting is an education researcher, physics educator and scientific communicator, Blair is a researcher in the field of gravitational waves with research focused on education. The book focuses on the insertion of Einsteinian physics in the basic education, bringing some reflections, didactic purposes, and reports about initiatives around the world. The term Einsteinian physics comprises both the Theory of Relativity and Quantum Physics since Einstein brought important contributions to it. It’s an easy-to-read book, bringing the concepts in a clear way, although is published only in English. The reading is very interesting mainly for science teachers and science teaching researchers, in special physics. This review aims to spread the initiative and promote the Einsteinian physics teaching in the basic education.
