Investigations into the possibilities of recognizing misappropriations of Quantum Mechanics: the role of scientific dissemination

The objective of this article is to discuss the potential of implementing strategies to present Quantum Mechanics (QM) in an accessible way, weighted by scientific data and capable of sustaining an argument against pseudosciences. The field of study was Chapada Diamantina – BA, but it was extended to other regions through scientific dissemination measures with the production of content for Instagram and the creation of a digital booklet. The booklet was published on the web and was also used to survey the conceptions of invited participants through a questionnaire. It is concluded, from the results of the research, that, within the various possibilities regarding incentives for scientific education in the area of QM, one that is relevant is the exposure of the dangers of decontextualization and deserves great attention from researchers in this field of knowledge. Nowadays, all kinds of information circulate in society, including through social media and the internet, therefore, it is necessary to occupy these spaces to spread it with arguments and language aligned with current scientific understanding. In this sense, the research products are relevant examples because, in addition to presenting some of the main fundamental concepts, they expose what is actually studied by the theory, removing mistaken or malicious interpretations of the MQ.
