The proposal of this work is to present a way to explore computational tools to clarify concepts in the high school Physics classes that are briefly explored since it is not possible to use diferential and integral calculus methods. The simple pendulum is used as a prototype to the suggested treatment. We show that with only the use of a spreadsheet - without requiring advanced computation knowledge - it is possible to create an environment to the student to test the numerical convergence processes and to obtain information about the behavior of the system based on graphical analysis.
