Bohr's atom in the high school

A hundred years ago the Danish physicist Niels Bohr published one of the most important set of papers of twentieth century physics. For the the first time an atomic model compatible with experimental facts and Planck's quantization hypothesis was presented. For many students, Bohr's model still is the entrance door to the fascinating world of the internal structure of matter. Here we propose a simple way of introducing Bohr's model at the high school level.
