Prejudice, morality and moral education for diversity

This essay discusses theoretically the prejudice through the prism of moral psychology, and bring some reflections on moral education in order to respect diversity. Deepening the concept by unpacking it as a psychological construct in constant relation with the social, it is stated the view that prejudice is a value. Thus, based on studies of the area of morality, shows the prejudice as part of morality, and consequently part of the identity of the subject, in all its complexity. Finally, based on the considerations made, it is argued on moral education and are pointed out directions on how to accomplish it, especially in light of the prospect of resolving conflicts.
