NORTH-NORTHEAST EDUCATION JOURNAL EDITORS FORUM: INTERINSTITUTIONAL COOPERATION AND SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITIES

ABSTRACT

A part of the twentieth century and another part of the twenty-first century have allowed the purpose of reflection on the debate concerning the production of knowledge in the area of education and on the normative procedures of the editorial policies of journals in this area. In this work, the documental sources used combined texts from articles with materials produced in the meetings of the North-Northeast Education Journal Editors Forum (folders, programs, memories etc.). Methodologically, the work is based on Bourdieu’s theories about the understanding of the scientific field, basically because they allow us to apprehend the particularities in the generality of the evaluation process of the education periodicals that the reflections and the analyses raise. The sources consulted revealed that remain, in the logic of the generalities of the evaluation process of the education journals, particularities of the scientific field, in interdependence with the predominant normative procedures of the editorial policies.
