ABSTRACT
The text reviews the practice of management teams of Chilean public schools, comparing them to the standards and theoretical contributions in this field, appreciating the main dynamics of management teams. It is an exploratory study, based on interviews with managers of schools. The information allows us to understand how their tasks have been established and what are their foundations, identifying critical points of great complexity, through the way the public system has focused on the acting director of the Center, an issue that affects the educational organization.
