Footballing tourism: profile and motivations of traveler supporter who attends the "new" Mineirão

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the football tourism in the "new" Mineirão. From the results of empirical research, there was a traveling fan profile that approximates the definitions about the consumer fan. Regarding motivation, soccer. It is the main reason for the trip. Thus, the experience of experiencing the on-site sport and know the stadium are factors that complement each other.
