Descriptive study about the occurrence of theses on the sport in postgraduate programs in Brazil

Abstract

Over analytical look to doctoral theses on sport in the period between 2010 and 2015 in Brazil, the aim of this paper is to investigate if there are indicators for viewing the configuration of scientific knowledge beyond disciplinary boundaries. It is a descriptive study. The bank of theses from CAPES and the Brazilian Digital Library (IBICIT), we selected 93 theses. The results suggest that although identify in some doctoral programs in the humanities, social and education the flexibility of disciplinary boundaries, the analyzes do not suggest the hypothesis that we are constituted transdisciplinary knowledge. The knowledge remains a multidisciplinary approach so, isolated within the limits of the boundaries of its objects of study.
