Interorganizational information management in the automotive supply chain

Enterprises have increased their IT investments, mainly with the aim of improving information management. This article analyzes how interorganizational information is managed (IOIM) in the automotive supply chain. It is a qualitative study, carried out in four enterprises within the same chain. The interviews were analyzed using the content analysis technique. It was noted that the information exchanged in the automotive chain is basically operational in nature and as there were differences in the IOIMs of each of the enterprises analyzed, it can be concluded that there is no model of IOIM.
