The article deals with the relations between Anthrop%gy and Business Administration in a new perspective. Its main goal is to demonstrate that Anthrop%gy's contributions to the understanding of administrative practices and policies go far beyond the organizational culture concept, developed in the end of 7970.Thisconcept does not cover ali the theoretical and memodotoçtcat possibilities raised by the idea of culture in business and administration. Besides that, it has been used in a mechanical way loosing most of its socioloqco' comprehensiveness.
