Family and the differentiation process in Murray Bowen theory: a case study

This study aimed to investigate the applicability of Murray Bowen’s theory of self differentiation to family therapy. It focused one family showing how the couple’s life histories, starting from the very first triangulations in the nuclear and extended families were transmitted between generations until generate a renewed history for the couple and their own family.
