Contrary to psychological interpretations which reduce films to simple psychological appointments which document cases of psychopathology, this essay analyses the Canadian film Léolo, reviewing not only its social-political aspects, but, above all, its formal dimensions, which without, it becomes impossible to comprehend the film as a work of art.
