Curriculum strategies

Abstract

This paper discusses curriculum specificities in a Brazilian school in order to identify curriculum proposals designed and produced there. Genealogy has been our methodological option, in approximation to Michel Foucault's and Gilles Deleuze's thoughts to evidence the discursive network, games of power, production of specific curricula and kinds of relationships found in the empirical field. Which relationships could be mobilized in the curriculum movements in that place? The analysis enabled us to understand that the current kinds of curriculum, school and schooling are not natural; rather, they are historical constructions that have been recently redone. The study points out capturing movements in the organization of the investigated school and lines of flight that would favor other curriculum experiences.
