Práticas de socialização entre adultos e crianças, e estas entre si, no interior da creche

This study is about a research on children's education. Its main objective was to describe, analyze and interpret the dynamics of the relationships established between adults and children in the space where they stay together, a day care center. In order to capture the dynamics of the social relationships of this day care center, an ethnographic-oriented methodology was used, as well as written and photographic records. With the purpose of having a more comprehensive analysis of that social scenario, a sociospatial study of the day care center and the actors involved was carried out. With the help of children's sociology, the study focused on the analysis of relationships developed in the day care center, between adults and children, and also among children themselves, as active social actors and actresses involved in the socialization processes. By observing the analysis categories elaborated for such, it could be noticed that, both in stressful and conflicting relationships and in peaceful ones, adults and children produce symbolic representations of the world with which they interact and, in the children's case, the elaboration of infantile cultures.
