Archaeological analysis of the discourse on the pedagogical nexus between cinema and education in Brazil from 1910 to 1930

Abstract

This text represents the results of a research that investigated the discourse related to the pedagogical link between the cinema and Brazilian Education in the first decades of XX century. This investigation analyzed texts that have been published in books, magazines, laws and manifests. Thus, we concluded that the pedagogical use of the cinema reached the status of: 1) political discourse object, when it is actioned by a value (public interest) produced in the core of different civil social instance organization; 2) juridical discourse object, when it is activated in and by juridical regime subject, in this case, it is materialized in decrees; 3) educational discourse object, when it had visibility and effectiveness in the field of concrete social conditions.
