Offenses, school and professionals roles: complex plots in fragile relations

Abstract

This study carried out with three adolescents for whom the offense was consequence of indisciplinary acts happened inside a public school. Articulating professional action and research, individual and territorial follow-ups were made based on social occupational therapy, ethnography and oral history. The analysis of the life histories of these young people and the conflict lived by them that led them to fulfill socio-educational measure demonstrate the need for the school to have greater management over their internal conflicts. It is suggested that the school can seek support in social assistance services that make up the national policy of social assistance, also outlining possible contributions of occupational therapists in the dialogue between the sectors of Social Assistance and Education.
