When anthropology is faced by education: indigenous teachers' training in Brazil

The article analyzes the processes of indigenous teachers' training in Brazil, which have been mobilizing government efforts and much of academic reflection in recent years. Taking into account the distinct formal indigenous educational system as a productive locus to enunciate cultural statements, the article postulates, within the transdisciplinary and intercultural clash, a place for Anthropology in the training of indigeneous teachers.
