This article aims to conduct an analysis of the discourses produced on the transvestite body in an educational video. It takes as a corpus of analysis the video Meeting Bianca, which tells a fictional story about the dilemma of a transvestite studying at a school. This video is part of an educational kit called "School without homophobia". The methodological option was to work with the Foucauldian arche-genealogy, understanding that the event is inscribed in a relationship of power and knowledge. It concludes that the video, which constitutes a discursive production, maypresent a revived power, which locks the body in an idealistic discourse, producing an idealized body for the transvestites, instead of fighting against homophobia.
