Clinical psychology and meaningful learning: report on a participative phenomenological research

This article is the result of a study-group experience on phenomenological research upon psychology. Such group was formed in April 1998, and ended in March 1999, being under the author’s guidance during that time. During weekly and bi-weekly meetings of two or three hours time, texts about phenomenology and its influence upon knowledge and in psychology research have been discussed, emphasizing the clinical area. The research served as an opportunity to the group members learn about the phenomenological method through real life experiences, as well as to develop a clinical study on the meaningful learning process.
