Résistance exercises in the contemporary society: between fabulations and contagions

The article highlights the contributions of Michel Foucault regarding the notion of résistance. Résistance exercises denaturalize the evidence that make up our everyday lives. They are anonymous and impersonal practices that cause cracks in the modes of established existence and introduce new problems. The objective was to highlight the positivity of résistance exercises, differing from those notions that deals exclusively as opposition or reaction to a set up process. The resistances are unpredictable and outlines other modes of collective action, fray the limits imposed by printing new characteristics in the forms of struggle and in the practices that insinuate themselves amidst the clamping processes that degrade life. From the discussions made by Foucault, we say those resistances are disobedient lines to problematize the principles of ordering and preservation of life. Résistance exercises perform changes in the modes of existence, of organization and of direction of political participation, of uses of the city, of forms of work organization, of production of knowledge and of sociability networks.
