Clinical observarion: a study of psycho-affective implications

The role of the psycho-affective implication of the researcher is an important aspect in clinical investigation. This implication is essentially understood as a part of a cognoscitive process allowing the link between knowledge and affection of the observer during the research. In clinical praxis, representations, values and emotions emerge, which when associate to the work context , may show the valorization or not of certain subjects, theoretical and methodological orientations of the investigator. This article tries to show the importance of this study in clinical approach and in the investigative practice through the examples of implicative experiences performed by one research-assistant, collaborating in a system of therapeutic investigation (supervision, clinical research and psychotherapeutic attendance). It was observed that this implication appears like a “third included” which, most of all, would try to avoid a reification of the clinical analysis.
