Abstract:
The present work aims to discuss Resolution No. 09/2018, published by the Federal Council of Psychology (CFP). For this, the article was organized in three points of discussion. Firstly, it is reported the process of the resolution construction, from the beginning of the current management of the Advisory Committee on Psychological Assessment until the publication of the document, understanding that it is relevant that such information should be known by the psychologists. Following, the resolution is presented, explaining the amendments and insertions contained therein, in comparison with the resolutions it repealed. Finally, the conclusions of the work are presented, as well as a brief “accountability” of the work developed so far by the management that is at the forefront of the psychological assessment area of the CFP.
