The behavior and informational values ​​in a company of the Brazilian airline industry

ABSTRACT

This paper presents the results of a study concerning the behavior and informational values ​​in a company of the Brazilian airline industry. It is believed that such behaviors and values ​​result in efficient use of information, and this will contribute to an improvement of organizational performance. The data collected for this study were obtained through an online questionnaire and six semi-structured interviews. The responses of 32 professionals who participated of the study demonstrated that some of the essential skills for a superior performance concerning the use of information, need greater attention from the organization's managers.
