Knowledge protection: an analysis of positive and negative impacts due to knowledge leakage in Brazilian and United Kingdom enterprises

Knowledge leakage or knowledge seepage refers to both knowledge absorption and transfer that happens in the interaction of companies with their working environment. This work aims to analyze the knowledge leakage routes in Brazilian and United Kingdom companies, using the taxonomy presented in the literature. The case studies lead to the conclusion that Brazilian companies need to prepare themselves better for the protection of their strategic knowledge.
