SOCIAL AND SOCIAL VULNERABILITY INDICATORS: CHARACTERISTICS AND POSSIBLE USES IN ASSESSING INFORMATION LITERACY

ABSTRACT

This work aims to identify possible uses of social indicators and social vulnerability indicators in the assessment of Information Literacy in Brazil. A qualitative approach, bibliographic and documentary research, it includes eight themes of social indicators. The results point to the possible uses of social indicators in connection with information literacy, based on a framework, in three axes: axis 1 - concept of social indicators; concept of Information Literacy concept of social vulnerability and vulnerability in information; axis 2 - PDCIn Matrix in the technical, esthetic, ethical and political dimensions of Information Literacy; functional virtues to indicators; and trends, relating to the assessment of Information Literacy and the themes to be considered; and axis 3 - Agenda 2030 and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
