A tendência autobiográfica do romance contemporâneo: Coetzee, Roth e Piglia Adriano Schwartz

The presence of autobiographical aspects in the narrative is a strong characteristic of the novel in the past few decades. This work tries to suggest some reasons for that. Then, it briefly discusses how that trace occurs in three authors, Philip Roth, Ricardo Piglia, and J.M. Coetzee, to examine next an exemplary case, the novel Diary of a bad year.

Contemporary novel; fiction; autobiography; J.M. Coetzee
