ABSTRACT
The article analyzes the relationship between the Torture Never Again Group/RJ and the National Truth Commission and explores the relationship between the State and social movement. It argues the application of different frameworks of reparation has led the Torture Never Again Group to distance itself from the National Truth Commission in the struggle for human rights.
