In the present paper, the author describes the experiments made by the inoculation of PR8 strain of influenza virus in mice by intracardiac route. The virus persisted in the blood and various organs until 120 days after inculation. The presence of the virus in the blood and organs were irregular in relation with the number of mice which presented pulmonary lesions.
