New Teaching Practices of Portuguese Language in Multifaceted Virtual Learning Environments

Abstract

This article’s objective is to reflect on new teaching practices of Portuguese Language, proposed from a didactic sequence, in multifaceted virtual learning environments, considering a mobilization of the textual genre family photos album. During remote education in 2020 and 2021, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, over 140 university students from the Pedagogy course at the Universidade de Brasília participated in the activities, along with almost 30 children in the literacy stage. This text intends to raise critical reflections based on planning and teaching experiences in the classroom, with useful methodological and theoretical possibilities for the rupture of crystallized conceptions in the education system. In summary, it is believed that, if such practices are well developed in the classroom, they can contribute to the development of literacy in students and provide formation for educators aware of their role when forming citizens.
