ABSTRACT
This article intends to elucidate Fernando Pessoa's thematization about the issue of metaphysics, in the light of the philosophical writings left by that author in his literary estate. In Pessoa's Archive, kept in the National Library of Portugal, one finds a multiplicity of philosophical projects and fragments about metaphysics, which are in the origin of a plurality of writings concerning the meaning of the notion of being. Thus, through the analysis of Pessoa's several projects devoted to the issue of metaphysics, we aim to clarify the various solutions presented by Fernando Pessoa for the issue of being.
