THE INTERNAL LOGIC OF VOLLEYBALL UNDER THE LENSES OF MOTOR PRAXEOLOGY

ABSTRACT

As one of the most practiced sports in the brazilian context, Volleyball is a dynamic practice, in which its players interact cooperatively and oppositively with the other participants. In this context, the Motor Praxeology emerged as a theory regarding games and sports that aims to unveil the internal logic of these motor practices, based on its rules. Thus, this research aimed to analyze the internal logic of Volleyball, from the CAI Classification System and the Ludomotor Universals, as well as the moments of the game and the interactions motor cooperation and/or opposition established between them, according to the Motor Praxeology. For this, a theoretical research was carried out, of character exploratory, through which it was verified that, based on the knowledge of the Motor Praxeology and its instruments of analysis, it becomes possible to unveil the internal logic of Volleyball, with the intention to understand its structure and relevant characteristics that should be contemplated throughout its teaching process. The knowledge proposed by this scientific theory gives theoretical basis to the work of the teacher or coach in the development of the knowledge related to the teaching-learning-training process of this sport modality, also assisting those who work in it (students or athletes), independently of the environment in which they are inserted.
