Territories of Citizenship of the Mato Grosso state: a socio-economic evaluation using the FIRJAN index

Abstract:

Public policy Citizenship Territories seeks to reduce poverty and social inequality through sustainable territorial development. This study assessed the socioeconomic indicators of the citizenship territories of the Mato Grosso state as a data source with the Municipal Development Index Firjan. The results indicate an improvement of indicators in almost all areas, however, most municipalities still find yourself with results below the cut of 0,650 set as appropriate.
