The History taught is school: is it possible to think/act from the whole?

In this text, based on the question "which are the characteristics of the teaching and the learning of History in the different stages of Elementary School?", we analyze the difficulties and obstacles faced by students and teachers, the specifics of both learning and teacher education in the areas of History and Pedagogy, the way teachers express their pedagogical practices, and the consequences of these ways of teaching for the students' learning processes.
