Floristic survey of genera Octacanthium, Staurastrum, and Staurodesmus of order Desmidiales (Zygnemaphyceae) in the Parque Estadual das Fontes do Ipiranga Biological Reserve, city of São Paulo, São Paulo State, southern Brazil. Nineteen species of Staurastrum, six varieties that are not the typical of their respective species, and four taxonomic formae also not the typical of their respective varieties; 10 species of Staurodesmus, three varieties not typical and two taxonomic forma also not typical; and two species of Octacanthium were identified totaling 45 taxa. Staurastrum tetracerum (Kützing) Ralfs ex Ralfs var. tetracerum f. tetracerum is the best represented species geographically, occurring in five localities.
