The survey of the species belonging to Parmotrema in the Parque Estadual da Cantareira and adjacencies revealed the occurrence of 20 species, six of them containing reticulate or efigurate maculae. This is the first time that Parmotrema pilosum is decribed to São Paulo State. A key for identification, descriptions, comments and illustrations are provided.
