Derision and cynical irony in the contemporary humor: the limits between politically incorrect and incorrectly political

In this article we discuss the transformations in contemporary graphic humor from the second half of the twentieth century, with emphasis on the subjective and ideological resources triggered contemporaneously to ensure its expansion and consolidation in different media platforms. Through a hermeneutic approach it marks the current resource to a cynical rationality fomenting of a derisive character who despises alterity as a key element for the contemporary society. Finally, it proposes a reflection on the ideological character in the this derisive Humor gestated from this association with the cynical reason and defends the premise that this combination incisively focuses on reiterating and legitimating practices of exclusionary power.
