The places and ways which celebrate a beatified person: going on a pilgrimage for the Cause of the canonization of José de Anchieta

The aim of this article is to analyze the emergence of ways of pilgrimage which recollect the Jesuit José de Anchieta's mystic and missionary experience and point at his narrow linking with the creation of places of recollection associated to him and with the Cause of his canonization.
